Dear journal readers,

as it has been pointed out to me my last entry lacked certain parts to enhance its appeal.

Since it might be of interest to some I decided to share some of the pictures taken during my stay in Europe.


This picture was taken close to the hometown of Boris Becker, one of the most renowned german tennis players.



The tournament held some interesting matches. I do look forward to the Quijing Internation Challenger. I would have prefered taking part in the Pingshan Open but the dates made it difficult.




As for my book date - I hope this hat fulfills your requirements.

There is nothing wrong with being a book store clerk. But if you want more then don’t hold back.

Well I mean, everyone has different roles depending on whose perspective it's from, right?

That’s true - but they are still a part of us.

Maybe I just want to change my role in certain people's lives. Others I'm very happy with. I'm sure my lecturers at uni quite like me as the eccentric student.

Well, okay then. What do I need to do to change my role from your perspective? Shall I compose a 3 page essay about my many qualifications and submit it for your appraisal when you return?

Oh. Well that moves the timeline forward a bit. Can I get a sneaky upgrade, then? To book club friend? Or is that too far?

What would this upgrade include?

Two free pieces of candy with every book purchase. And maybe an occasional warm beverage.

That sounds acceptable. I will pass on the candy however.

You don't like candy? What sort of sweet things do you like?

I don’t really love it.

I prefer the unlicked kind

Sometimes I am partial to liquorice.

Only sometimes? What about chocolate? I bet you're a dark chocolate fan.

I do prefer dark chocolate to the other kind but still only in small amounts.

Do you like candy?

Are you going to buy me some when you're in China? I like strange flavoured ones! Usually hard candy though, because I like to suck them. Gummy candy is just depressing.

I’ll se what I can find. If I can’t find a suitably cheesy figurine I will have to resort to candy.

I think I'd rather the candy over the cheesy figurine.
